Ali from Norwich reports: On Saturday 25th February 2012, the Norwich assembly ventured to a local ice skating rink, where those that were game took to the ice. Inspired by numerous ice skating inspired dance/choreography tv programs, we were soon gliding with our skates like swans on water, although perhaps not as gracefully (there were a few falls). A great time of fellowship (numerous group shots were taken), those that were unable to take to the ice were treated to a warm cup of tea (as well as the entertainment of watching those on skates).
Overall, the evening proved to be a great success, providing a wonderful time of fellowship and light relief from the hum drum of the working week (the staff were polite and friendly, nobody went home with any major injuries). As the event proved to be great fun, I can see it becoming a firm mainstay on the Norwich assembly’s annual activity roster.
